About Us
Awuana Festival
The Awuana festival started 3 years ago. And it was an initiative by Mr. Frank Addo and Mr. Kingsley Akuffo.
the idea from Mr. Frank was to foster charity through games and socialization whiles that of Mr. Akuffo was to create tourism awareness about the five (5) tourists site in Logba Tota.
This all came together to form an eventful program called Awuana Festival.
In all the aim of the organization is to:
- Promote tourism
- Foster charity
- Bring development
- Show our cultural and unprivileged in the society to escape poverty.
The first committee members are:
- Mr. Frank Addo
- Mr. Kingsley Akuffo
- Mr. Bright Nyanku
- Mr. Phanuel Howusu
- Mr. Justice Abudu
- Mr. Dennis Glover
- Mr. Livingstone Adanuvor.
Two(2) years after, other hard-working people were added as planners of the of that years event which happened to our fist official function:
- Mr. John Abotsi
- Mr. Edo Ndah
- Mr. Ayitekumah Emmanuel
- Mrs. Endurance Yabani
- Mr. Delali Kofitsri
We say thank you to the chief and elders of the Logba Tota community for embracing this festival.
we are looking forward to see the Awuana Festival being one of the best organisation to create opportunities for developments in our community.
